A long yearning for another material to work with ended in 2022, when I bought my first tufting gun.  Initially the reason was to be able to create work on my own, almost whenever and wherever.

The tufting kicked off with the help of my talented god-daughter Aava Liukko, who had a huge part in getting ready to exhibit

the first woolly wallworks. Since then I have used tufting almost

as meditation when the urge to make something by hand

without a massive operation - like glass always is - hits.
