Nounou Design was founded by designer and glassmaker Anu Penttinen in 2003, initially specializing in handblown & unique art glass objects. These black&white glass vessels still dominate the visual language of and give direction to all other areas of design.

Then on the Nounou brand has developed into consisting of different types of glass objects, both unique and serial production, with a wide price range. Also other materials such as textiles, wood and metal are slowly incorporated into the selection.

Apart from the artistic and handcraft activity, Nounou Design is also regularly involved in design projects with the industry. As a freelance designer Anu Penttinen has contributed to the collections of different companies in Europe.
