iittala 2001-2002
Degree project for University of Art and Design Helsinki
My thesis for a Masters Degree was a combination of research and artistic work. I was able to execute the latter with iittala's glassworks in Nuutajärvi. Working with skilled glass blowers was a valuable experience and the result of this process is the 'Panoptikon’ -collection. These 20 unique incalmo-pieces were exhibited at the Esplanadi Stage in Helsinki and sold through the iittala Concept Store on Esplanade.
